CVE-2025-11878 - ST Categories Widget <= 1.0.0 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting
CVE ID : CVE-2025-11878
Published : 22 Oct 2025, 9:15 a.m. | 3 hours, 8 minutes ago
Description : The ST Categories Widget plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's st-categories shortcode in versions less than, or equal to, 1.0.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Severity: 6.4 | MEDIUM
